Pimalai is a wonderful setting and so well maintained the service. The staff are brilliant looked after us and really and quality was brilliant The spa was wonderful, we both had massages there and they were offering a 20% discount while we were there.

Positive native employees from island + friendly safety officer at at the main street + happy hour at beach bar!

The hotel is made up of small buildings surrounded by greenery. There are two excellent restaurants. The service is excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. Pimalai is a great boutique hotel, elegant but with excellent value for money.

Well, Koh Lanta Yai is a most beautiful island, especially, the southern end where the 5 star resort of Pimalai sits nestled at the base of the hills and fronting the 900m of beautiful white sand of Ba Kan Tiang Bay.

This resor has one of the most spectacular views in the world as you look out across its upper pool villa reception and restaurant araa to the Andaman Sea - absolutely stunning.

I would recommend this to any group who are looking for an amazing venue to drive a sucessful meeting in an inspiring location.

On arrival we were met and seen to our rooms with a minimum of fuss. The Conference co-ordinator was quietly organisingall in the background and the 3 days event was conducted seamlessly.

The formal restaurant was amazing,we were catered for in a private rom and the food was of a standard I would expect in a 5 stars hotel.

The pool villas are just superb as is the resort in a getawa dstination to die for. The only problem, I could come up with was the fact that for Aussie travellers,

Na, Noi, Nee (good foot ball "player like Christiano Ronaldo), Pui, Tuta and Pan. Please pass on our tanks to your staf. Very good facilities and staff.

This is our 3rd time at Pimalai, First time when we got married, 2nd time with our first child, and this time with our 2nd child. We love to come here again.

the General Manager was a mad Frenchman who knew more about Australian Rules football than most Melbournians and followed Geelong.

We just spent 10 days in a Pool Villa at Pimalai. I cannot say enough about the resort as a whole... The staff were absolutely fantastic. The Spa was exceptional, the food was very good and i highly recommend Pimalai. Truly a five star experience.

"It's incredible - when I came to this island it felt like home! My feeling kind of tells me "you are secure, you are free and relaxed". That is rare! Normally, it takes a few days until your "soul" follows - not this time.

When I went on the boat for the short trip from the land to the island, a pleasant breeze blew in my face - I enjoyed every second.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed at. Wonderful architecture and landscaping. Great location and beach facing exactly west so you can watch the sunset over Koh Ha. Close to the good Thai dive sites. Would highly recommend.

The food was wonderful, rooms amazing, On the last evening of our stay, one team member was stung by a jelly fish – the beach staff knew just what to do and used natural remedies to reduce the pain and prevent scarring. Truly brilliant service!

The Genaral Manager Frank lead by example, making himself available at morning breakfast "working" the tables. Working in the retail environment, where service is paramont to success or failure, Frank and his team are right on the money.

Dining onsite can be pricey, but with local establishments such as the "Why Not Bar", the wallet doesn't take such a big hit. I also strongly recommend booking a spa treatment stay as the Pimalai spa facility and staff are to die for.

Our group of 10 ranged in age from 57 to 16 and Pimalai had something for everyone. They made this family reunion one to remembr. Should I get the chance to visit Thailand again, Pimalai will be on my list of things to do.
