The Racha is only a one hour and 15 minutes flight from Bangkok. It is a 45-minute drive from Phuket International Airport and a 35 to 45-minute ride by boat from Phuket's Chalong Bay to Racha Island. Batok Beach is one of Thailand's most beautiful beaches easily rivalling the well-known white sand splendour of Phuket's other famous beaches Pantong Beach and Kamala Beach. In easy distance is Phuket town where interesting local shopping can be found on Thalang Road and Dibuk Road.
