"Tuscan Summer Tasting" Event a Success

The promotional event package "A Tuscan Summer
Tasting" included accommodations at Inn
at the Mill and a four-course menu consisting of recipes taken from the pages
of A Tuscan Seduction, Chef Miles' beautifully illustrated romantic cookbook
for two.
Guests arrived at 6:00pm for authentic Tuscan hors d'oeuvres
and wine in the restaurant's Triangle Room, a beautifully appointed dining area
constructed around a polished sycamore tree complete with floor-to-ceiling
windows overlooking a Koi fish pond. As the dinner commenced, a professional
classical guitarist and violinist performed pieces of music from the Italian
Renaissance period, further adding to the authentic Tuscan experience.
After enjoying a truly unforgettable dinner, guests received
an autographed hardcover edition of A Tuscan Seduction and made their way to
their rooms at Inn at the Mill. Upon returning
to the Inn, the guests found that a
complimentary Tuscan amenity, a bottle of Chef Miles' homemade Limoncello, had
been placed in their rooms during dinner. It was the chef's intention that his
cookbook and the complimentary Limoncello would allow each guest to take home a
taste of the luxury they experienced at
"A Tuscan Summer Tasting."
Because of the overwhelming response to this promotional
event, the next tasting dinner package from James at the Mill Restaurant is
already in the works. Future dinner guests may look forward to a similar event
in the coming months with a focus on French wines and cuisine.
