The room and suites are spacious with lots of beautifully carved wood and most have a balcony to sit out and admire the scenery. Head straight for the spa and relax in the thermal pool in natural hot spring water, renowned for soothing the joints and beneficial for the circulation.
Take a trip to the Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain, or enjoy a flying visit to the Salzkammergut resort area. The festival city of Salzburg with its world cultural heritage is about 90 kilometres away. On your return to Hoteldorf Gruner Baum enjoy a culinary treat or two in the restaurant.

Guests at the Grüner Baum have a choice of two restaurants, the Panorama Restaurant and Ganghofer Stüberl à la carte restaurant, whose wood carvings cost more than the construction of the entire main house.
You can have many Austrian specialities some with international influences.
Digestives can be taken in the 17th-century Apotheke bar, which the Blumscheins converted from an apothecary into a bar after they had it moved 170 miles from Innsbruck.
