With a homely atmosphere, a restaurant and a relaxing spa this place is full of charisma and is perfectly located to explore Provence, just 30 kilometres from Avignon.
The atmosphere at Villa Regalido is utterly relaxing. The armchairs invite you to sink into them to read a book, the lovely garden overflows with flowers in summer and the rooms and suites are welcome retreats each evening. Arched ceilings in the restaurant are romantic reminders that the house was once an olive mill.
Visit the nearby town of Arles with its Roman arena, amphitheatre, Alycamps, and the original sites for a number of Van Gogh’s paintings. Then visit the pretty hillside village of Les Baux. Return for dinner at Villa Regalido’s restaurant for Provencal cuisine which gives pride of place to fresh locally sourced produce.
