A grand late Renaissance country house built in the 16th-century, Villa Le Maschere Resort has been adapted over the centuries to produce an outstandingly beautiful Tuscan villa that sits in a romantic park dotted with sequoia trees. There is also an Italian-styled garden, two swimming pools and a health and beauty centre.
Painstaking restoration has revealed beautiful stuccos and frescoes by the Francesco Furini school of painting. These art treasures occupy a number of Villa Le Maschere Resort’s bedrooms and suites together with majolica and sculptures.
Take the free shuttle bus into Florence for a day’s sightseeing or shopping. On your return, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and watch the sunset from a sun bed.
