We believe you won’t find a better publicly available rate for our hotels anywhere else. If you make a reservation on SLH.com and then find a lower rate elsewhere with the same booking conditions, we will revise your booking to the lower rate.

Making a Claim

If you find a lower published rate after booking your stay at any Small Luxury Hotels of the World property, simply contact us to make a claim. Please email us at promise@slh.com. We will match the lower rate if the below conditions are met:

  • The claim is made for an existing SLH reservation within 24 hours of booking
  • The SLH booking confirmation reference is provided with the hotel name, arrival and departure dates and room type booked
  • The SLH booking must be with a fully flexible rate and within the cancellation deadline
  • The two rates must be still available when we process the claim
  • The conditions of the lower rate must be the same:
    • It is for the same room type and dates
    • It is in the same currency used by the hotel
    • It is with the same meal plan, cancellation policy, deposit policy
  • The lower rate must be a published rate available not restricted to members only
  • A screenshot and URL of the website showing the lower rate with the total amount (tax included) in the same currency

The Best Rate Promise does not apply if:

  • The above information cannot be provided or the details are incorrect
  • The booking is made within 3 days of arrival date (weekends excluded)
  • The lower rate is for ‘secret’ hotels revealed after the booking is confirmed
  • The claims are made comparing different currencies
  • The lower rate is available through special memberships or loyalty points
