INTRODUCING COLORADO

Breath-taking views, soaring mountains, centuries-old sites and the endless potential for adventure… and that’s just the start. Landing in Colorado feels a little like setting foot on a Western movie set – with copper-red canyons and characterful ranches. And, with 300 days of sun each year, it’s perfect for outdoorsy types.

Things to do

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Dive into Colorado’s magnificent landscapes with a range of outdoor activities. Go hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, or grab a mountain bike and tackle the terrain at speed. Or see the snowy side to Colorado at a world-class ski resort.

WATER

Explore Colorado by water and take in the stunning scenery from your paddleboard or kayak. For something more up-tempo, try white water rafting or jet skiing. Or slow things down and try fly fishing. With over 2000 lakes and reservoirs in Colorado, there are plenty of opportunities to get your feet wet.

HISTORY

Mesa Verde National Park is a must for history buffs. The site is home to ancient Puebloan cliff dwellings from the 1st century AD. If you’re looking for evidence of Colorado’s modern history – and its innovative side – ride a vintage locomotive along the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Sign up for a Ranger Program at Rocky Mountain National Park for out-of-this-world experiences such as stargazing and astronomy.
