Trout Point Lodge of Nova Scotia - Luxury hotel in Nova Scotia

A fabulous lodge surrounded by swathes of forestland in the wilds of Nova Scotia

A secluded nature sanctuary on the banks of the Tusket River and next to the Tobeatic Wilderness Area, Trout Point Lodge provides the perfect mix of luxury in wild surrounds. With a fantastic opportunity to discover the backwoods, guests also enjoy gourmet Creole and Acadian cuisine, a wide range of spacious and comfortable accommodation, and some of the best air quality in North America.

Surrounded by pine, spruce and birch trees, Trout Point Lodge totally reflects its environment with furniture made from the saplings, burls and branches taken from the site when the lodge was built. The deep porches, hand-cut stone fire places and wood burning stoves are designed with eco-friendliness in mind.

This is the ideal place to get back in touch with nature with its dense wildlife habitat in the adjacent Tobeatic Wilderness Area, where you may enjoy sightings of black bear, turtles, flying squirrels, grouse, deer, beaver, owls, loons, eagles and even moose. Then relax in Trout Point Lodge’s outdoor sauna or hot tub before a gourmet dinner in the restaurant. Later engage in a spot of romantic star-gazing under a pristinely clear sky.
