Very friendly hotel

We found this hotel as an ideal place to discover the northeastern part of Switzerland, including Konstanz and its surroundings on the German side. We enjoyed the friendliness of the hotel, its restaurant and its large spa.

Great stay in wellnesshotel with culinary surprises

From the moment we entered the hotel we felt welcome. It was our first visit but it felt like we visited old friends: friendly welcome, welcome drinks, room upgrade and good suggestions for local hiking and cycling trips. The bartenders are also very courteous and surprise you with recommendations for Read more[SPLIT]Read lesslocal wines and wineries. Dinner is great with a wide selection of dishes, Many of which with locally sourced ingredients. The pool area is great with ample beds. Two minor remarks: the mattresses were a bit soft for our taste and the suite had a B&O sound system with a cd player. Nice retro touch but in 2020 an audio system with streaming options would be More welcome.

There are crisp, white tablecloths on dark wooden tables, set beside floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the spectacular scenery. To accompany the grand views, the bar has its own grand piano – sip cognac or a local Thurgau apple liqueur and listen to the melodies.
