Introducing Courchevel 1850

Why rub shoulders with celebrities when you can ski with royalty instead? Courchevel 1850 is the French Alpine ski resort that has always been a cut above. From luxury hotels to Michelin starred fine dining, exclusive designer boutiques to some of the Alps’ very best skiing, you know you’re with the ‘in-crowd’ when you come to visit.

Things to do

SKIING
Courchevel 1850 is the highest and most famous of the three ski resorts bearing the Courchevel name. This is where dedicated skiers come to enjoy themselves. A week’s ski pass will also allow you access onto the two other valleys of the vast area known as Les Trois Vallées.

FOOD
If the hotels are luxurious and the clientele A-list, then only the best cuisine will do. Courchevel has seven restaurants that share 11 Michelin stars between them. If you like fine dining and high-end gastronomy, this is the ski resort for you.

HISTORY
Courchevel 1850 is one of the very few, if not the only, ski resort in Western Europe that was purpose built for skiers. When the town planner Laurent Chappis put pencil to paper, he endeavoured to make sure that everything was exactly perfect.
