We had a wonderful stay at the Small Luxury Ambassador Hotel in Zurich, Switzerland. All the hotel staff were great. Manwella at the front desk is a definite asset for the hotel. She recommended an excellent restaurant only a 7 minute walk from the hotel. Our hotel room was large with a balcony and a view of the lake as well as the Opera House. Breakfast was good and the hotel was the perfect location, for walking along the lake, in Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, as well as close to trams and the train which we took to Zurich airport. So convenient, look forward to returning. The Ambassador will be our definite choice for all future visits to Zurich.

We are returning guests, appreciating the hotel for its excellent location (central, very fast connection to the airport via S-train, next to Zürich lake and the opera house) and very friendly and professional staff. This time we attended the Zürich Operaball with a group of friends in some shared hotel Read more[SPLIT]Read lessrooms - and all of us were granted a much needed and appreciated late checkout until 13:00 upon request, great service! Furthermore, we enjoyed a pre-arranged gala dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, both, food and wine selection were excellent. Only drawback were the comparatively small size of the suite and the mediocre toiletries (large dispensers instead of top notch articles) in the small-ish bathroom - we would really have expected better at this price and standard, thus 4 stars. All in all, however, we have had a great stay and will come back for our next visit to Zürich.
