Overall,the Baros experience was lovely, but the matress was in serious need of needing replacement.

Rafael, his assistance at the airport both upon arrival & while navigating the check in a great experience. He was a lovely individual and served as a warm welcome to Baros.

Perfect!

Baros manages to achieve the perfect balance with beautiful accommodation, wonderful house reef, outstanding service and delicious food but all in a low key way which suits its barefoot luxury. Thoroughly recommend for a relaxing holiday and hope to return soon!

Members of staff took the effort to remember names, what you liked for breakfast etc. Simon our Villa Host was very good as well. House reef was quite impressive. We really enjoyed the villa upgrade! Thanks SLH!

This was our second stay on Baros. We liked it very much and enjoyed it very much.

The whole stay was unforgettable. Of all the hotels we have visited in over 50 countries in recent years, the staff (from simple employees to general managers) is probably the best we have ever experienced. Also the food was always excellent in all three restaurants.

The Lighthouse Lounge is located on the 2nd floor. Lime Restaurant, all-day dining from an à la carte menu of enticing dishes from around the world. Lighthouse Lounge

Served Meals: Dinner Sea and sky meet on a horizon of bewitching beauty. While you relax in the shade of The Lighthouse iconic canvas roof you can enjoy the best sunset views on the island as you are served in signature Baros style. By day you will glimpse schools of fish glinting in the lagoon below. Then celebrate the evenings caressed by gentle breezes and the mellow rhythm of a live band. All accompanied by the finest wines or cocktails and canapes. Smoking permitted at assigned smoking area.

Cayenne Grill

Served Meals: Lunch, Dinner Al fresco dining in thatched gazebos above the lagoon offering a la carte dining with a hint of Indian flavour. Order from a selection of the finest cuts and freshest seafood and grilled to your preferences. Served with sauces of choice and accompanied by a lavish selection of salads and divine desserts. Sails Bar

Served Meals: Lunch Amble along a sandy trail to Sails Bar for drinks or snacks in an intimate and peaceful place in the day. Sway in a hammock as the lagoon sparkles beyond the trees or relax in a lounger as smooth music melts into the starlit sky. A gentle evening breeze rustles palm fronds overhead. A million grains of sand feel soft underfoot. Featuring mellow music with spirits and cocktails and liqueurs for evening enjoyment.

Lighthouse Restaurant

Served Meals: Dinner An icon in the Maldives. The Lighthouse Restaurant rises over the lagoon with its towering white sail a beacon on the seas. Enjoy the most succulent local seafood or tender steaks and modern classics infused with exotic flavour. Have our resident sommelier recommend the perfect wines for your meal for an ultimate fine dining experience. Intimate and magical. Return again and again for both the delectable cuisine and the breathtaking views over the Baros seas.

Spa

Entering Serenity Spa, one walks through intricately carved doors, onto stepping stones embedded within a pond. On either side one’s eyes rest on a lush green garden while gentle sounds of trickling water indicate a place of wellbeing. Four couple treatment suites, with two beds in each room, as well as a Thai sala are reachable by walking over a beautiful wooden decking through the garden. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the private steam room, Spa bath and the rain shower. After your treatment enjoy a hot or cold ginger tea while relaxing on an elegant lounger, enjoying a beautiful garden view to re-join reality. Treatments are designed for pure relaxation while powerful botanical ingredients deliver the promised results. A great way to wellbeing would be daily Yoga classes which are held in the air conditioned Yoga Pavilion, on decks above the crystal clear ocean waters or even on a sandbank in the middle of the Indian Ocean.
