Grand Hotel Toplice

Bled, Slovenia

Grand Hotel Toplice  will be closed during renovations from 1st October 2026 to July 2027.

Grand Hotel Toplice will be closed for the season from November to April.

A magical lakeside setting surrounded by striking natural beauty

The location of Grand Hotel Toplice is just magical. Set in the stunning alpine resort of Bled, the hotel sits on the lake shore overlooking the small island of Otok, with its fairy tale church, and beyond towards Bled Castle with the Julian Alps in the background. With three wonderful restaurants, two bars, an indoor thermal pool, saunas, massages and a private beach, this is surely one of the most romantic spots in Europe.

Each of the rooms and suites at Grand Hotel Toplice has its own unique character. Traditionally styled with beautiful parquet floors, rich furniture and paintings on the walls, the majority of rooms benefit from superb lake views. Sit on the Jezero Bar terrace under the chestnut trees alongside the lake and watch the boats pass across the shimmering water.

PICTURE POSTCARD LOCATION, LOVELY HISTORICAL HOTEL

We had a newly renovated room overlooking the lake with balcony. Staff were very helpful, welcoming & genuinely made us feel at home

delightfully classy

the view is unbeatable, quite the best on the lake. Breakfast was delicious, quite extensive choices. We really enjoyed the rowing boat, and we sat on the sun loungers and enjoyed the crystal clear waters in the cordoned off swimming area.

Lake Bled’s iconic hotel with unique atmosphere

Our stay at Grand Hotel Toplice was very enjoyable, with a beautiful room and stunning lake view that made our visit truly special. Amazing classic hotel on an ideal part of the lake. Free loungers & rowing too!

Amenities were excellent, loungers, pool (very cold but refreshing), saunas, location, view, etc. Overall an excellent time and it was absolutely worth it to stay directly on the lake

Service and local knowledge made the trip seamless

We came for some hiking and outdoor activities, and when we caught a bit of rain, the front desk team jumped into action and created a great itinerary that included some great food and sightseeing via car until the rain cleared.

Location, Location, Location

From the friendly welcome including an upgrade to lake view to the views during the night with concert at the lake promenade on the one side and a thunderstorm rolling in on the other - observed from the safety of our room (terrace) - it was a magical stay. Thanks so much!
