Truly one of a kind, Palm Suite brings a touch of the exotic to the Eternal City. While they may be set in a grand 18th-century building, each suite has its own whimsical style – a statue of a tiger in one, a golden palm-shaped lamp in another. And with the Colosseum and Forum for neighbours, the views are rather special too.

With so much history inside and out, each Palm Suite tells a story. Bold, tropical patterns sit against stark walls. Meticulously mismatched cushions are placed on elegant chaises. A Family Suite will set the scene for Roman Holidays with the whole gang in tow, while the Michelin-starred restaurant at sister hotel Palazzo Manfredi is a romantic setting for evenings out. There’s a terrace cocktail bar here too, right beside the Colosseum, for modern mixology overlooking ancient Gladiatorial ground.

Within seven minutes, you can be at any one of the ‘big five’: Capitoline Hill, the Forum, the Pantheon, the Colosseum and Basilica of Saint Peter in Chains. The latter is where you’ll find an iconic statue of Moses created by Michelangelo. After a day spent exploring ancient landmarks and awe-inspiring sights, take in Rome’s famous skyline back in the comfort of your Palm Suite private residence.

A perfect place to stay for families steps from the Colosseum

We stayed in the "Grand Palm Suite, Forum View" but if you peeked your head out the window, you could see the edge of Colosseum as well. The staff was lovely, and the ability to have breakfast in our room was ideal for our early riser kids. The layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an a large Read more[SPLIT]Read lesstable and seating area worked well for us to spread out when back from sightseeting in Rome. Would recommend to anyone looking for a eclectically designed space during a trip!

We found our room and all the staff to be amazing.

We loved the atmosphere of the place, the little touches like the chairs and tables round the palm tree, the reception staff who always called out a hello, and were super helpful with ideas and advice. We are very particular about pillows and a comfortable mattress and these were all great.

A great location for exploring

We stayed for 2 nights at Palm Suite and it was great. The location is right by the Colosseum and great for exploring Rome and the local restaurants nearby. Breakfast is served in Aroma (or to your room) which is a rooftop restaurant at their sister hotel, a short walk aaay, and it was lovely - would Read more[SPLIT]Read lessrecommend breakfast there rather than to your room at least once! Whilst the room was beautifully decorated, the only downside was that our room was overlooking a road (and not the inner courtyard as we had booked) which made it difficult to sleep as it was fairly noisy. Obviously the noise is outside of the hotel's control, but just be wary when booking as the only two options were Courtyard view or Forum view, and we had neither!! Otherwise, it was a great place to stay for a few nights in Rome!
